MP GRAHAM Brady and Trafford College principal Bill Moorcroft, pictured, took in a tour of a Timperley site where a home for elderly residents is under construction.

Trafford-based New Care Projects is opening an 84 bed care facility, to be known as Allingham House Care Centre.

The Deansgate Lane home will provide a state of the art environment for the care of elderly residents.

New Care Projects has also entered into a training partnership with Trafford College.

Mr Brady, MP for Altrincham and Sale West, said: “I was impressed by the quality of the development being built by a local company with a long –standing reputation and track record in this area. I am particularly pleased that a partnership has been forged with Trafford College to provide training and employment opportunities for young people."

Sir Bill Moorcroft added: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with New Care Projects to deliver their staff training and support them with the launch of their new care centre. Working in the Care sector can be a very demanding and challenging industry, which is why it is essential that businesses have a committed and skilled workforce to help them grow and meet the challenges ahead. We look forward to working with New Care Projects and supporting them in the vital work they do for our local community.”
