Award success for Sale accountant

STEVE Collings, technical director at Sale accountancy practice Leavitt Walmsley Associates (LWA) Ltd, has bagged the award for accounting technician of the year award.
He received it at the inaugural British Accountancy Awards, held at Old Billingsgate Market in London on November 30.
The award was given in recognition of Steve’s professionalism, imagination and innovation.
Steve said: “At LWA, we are proud of the high standards of service we offer to our clients and this award is testament to the firm’s continuing high standards of service and level of knowledge.”
Steve recently accepted a deal to write International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) For Dummies to be published by John Wiley & Sons, one of the world’s largest publishers. This will be his fourth book.
